SBAV Group has announced today the donation of 5 percent of its post-tax profits to philanthropic organizations and socially-focused initiatives throughout south-east Asia.
Since the commencement of the grants program last year, SBAV Group has donated more than $800,000 to charitable organizations on both local as well as international levels.
Discussing the implementation of the grants program, SBAV Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Edmund Banner said that the program’s charter was not just a guide for evaluating investments, but also drove on its commitment to make a tangible positive impact.
“With the establishment of the grants program SBAV Group aims to financially support NGOs and non-profits that contribute to humanitarian efforts, environmental conservation and animal welfare in Japan and abroad”, he commented. “It delivers on our pledge to put our profits to good use towards achieving responsible goals, and I encourage all suitable organizations to apply and take part”.
SBAV Group has awarded $800,000 in grants to a wide range of charitable organizations and socially-focused businesses working on Japanese and global causes. The recipient organizations focus on a varied range of modern issues ranging from marine conservation, online security and child protection to education.
